Heading Out for Mastermind Group
I meet with a group of business consultants and business coaches several times a year. We act as a board of directors for each others companies. A mastermind group of Think and Grow Rich legend.
Comments and advice are constructive and direct. Once in a while, very direct. But that's why we go. To get honest feedback that we can't get from friends and family.
There is no hidden agenda. Just an obvious one. Improvement for each others businesses. It's cool.
Start a mastermind group for your business. Your spouse or significant other doesn't want to hear about it anymore!
We're meeting a little north of Toronto and I picked up extra supplies for the trip. Maybe I should have picked up an extra horse, too. This could be a very long drive.
More later.

Clearly you are familiar with Napoleon Hill's classic book "Think and Grow Rich," which should definitely be in every entrepreneur's library. There are several editions of the book available. My personal favorite is "Think and Grow Rich!: The Original Version, Restored and Revised," edited by Ross Cornwell, who restored parts of Napoleon Hill's original 1937 manuscript that were cut out of the book in the 1960s. Mr. Cornwell has also annotated the book (more than 170 endnotes) and added extremely useful features such as an appendix and a complete index of the book -- something it had never had in all the years it has been published. This book goes into my briefcase every time I go to work, go home from work, or travel. Not a day passes that I do not study up on one of the 13 Steps to Riches. The book is really indispensable.

Kirby,
My copy of "Think and Grow Rich" has dog- eared pages and is filled with my margin notes. It's the grandaddy of all modern self help books isn't it?
